Or should I say most things that involve concentration and work.
This pregnancy (which by the way is bringing us a little girl) has been rather easy and I feel I have no room to complain. That being said, I decided I should note a few things that seem noteworthy now but will fade quickly with the craziness that is life.
As this is my second attempt in 2 weeks to write this I am reminded of the greatest challenge I have faced over the past 6 months - laziness! I am usually a planner and executor. I usually like to have an ever growing To Do List that is constantly evolving. Lately I prefer parking myself on the couch the moment I get home and staying there until Anthony gets home. Tonight the Boo Boo fell asleep shortly after we got home and I threw a frozen pizza in and geeked on the computer while listening to America's Next Top Model. I should have cooked a nice meal, caught up on cleaning, laundry or something productive. I am supported by my dear, sweet husband but I am sure that I get on his nerves.
I am so grateful that I feel so well but it makes it hard to justify not accomplishing all that I think I should. We moved last month and for some reason it took a lot out of me. I had a pile of clothes sitting on my floor for almost an entire month before I finally put them away. I suppose I shouldn't be airing all of my "dirty laundry" (hahaahhaaa!) but sometimes it just feels so nice.
This little girl who is getting ready to come is quite a mover and a shaker. I don't know if I just don't remember Ali being so active or is this Ba Ba really is busier, but I really enjoy it. At my 20 week ultrasound you could see her kicking like crazy. I was surprised by the visual of what I feel throughout the day. I am carrying this baby a lot different than I did Ali. I don't have a basket ball belly (yet) which has allowed me to sleep really well so far. I think Heavenly Father knows I will need every minute of sleep that I can get before this baby girl comes.
I have not had too many cravings this go around. This week my favorite treat is bread (I made some yummy wheat bread this weekend) slathered with butter. Pizza has also been top on my list, along with the yummy chopped salad from Wildberry. Alexandra loves to tell me that my belly is "getting bigger, bigger". I laughed when she saw my normally inny belly button that has recently turned into an outtie and she said the baby was kicking.
The most exciting thing about this pregnancy is that it will bring an end to my working (away from home) days. I told my boss last week that I will not be returning and he offered to be "flexible" so I would stay on in some capacity. But that is not going to happen! I admit, I am nervous about being home all day with 2 babies. I really struggled with my last go at being a stay at home mom. I am hoping, praying and working to make it a different experience this time. I know that the outcome will be based solely upon me and my attitude. So, I guess I have a lot of work to do to make it a success.
Overall, life is truly wonderful. I have a beautiful, healthy family and we are fighting each day to make everything come together and work. I am learning to enjoy my journey and not envy the paths of others. The grass isn't greener on the other side and I am learning that to plant daisies in my own field. Yes, life is hard, but it is a blessing to have this life.
Maybe next time I write I will have a baby already, or my hair will have grown out a bit (I totally chopped it!) and fall will be in the air. But at least I know that a few small notables have been recorded. I hope my little Ba Ba will know how wonderful it is already to have her in my life.

Yay Kelsey! I'm so excited for you. I look forward to seeing a pic of your new little girl later this summer. Take care of yourself, and take it easy - and don't feel too guilty about it. ;) I have a feeling that you won't get to do it again for a long while.
I always enjoy reading your posts!! It will be fun to see your new little girl. You and Ali are gorgeous girls so I know this one will be no different
