**Note - there is a gem of a picture at some point in this post that you should all enjoy - so check out the entire thing so you don't miss it!
After spending time in Atlanta Lindsay, Brady, Ryker, Ali, Sophi and I drove to Chattanooga to meet Anthony, Mom and Dad, Peter, Shellie, Joey, Jon and Arabella for a wild Thanksgiving.
We tried to make sure that Nana always had a baby (or two) on her lap.
Jon and Brady spent a lot of time battling it out on the Wii.
Anthony and Ali zonked out - but this was the one and only rest Anthony received the entire trip...he won't let me forget about it!
We played loads of games.
And made loads of funny faces.
And even succeeded in getting Dad to play the Wii.
Joey, Jon, Arabella and Ali had so much fun playing together (we sure missed Liam and Lyra!).
We went on a train ride and learned all about the old railroad.
Oh how I love my Mom and sisters!
And my cute family.
Papa broke out the glow sticks and it led to quite the psychedelic dance party.
Friday Papa took the kids on a hike (yes, Peter and Anthony still fall in that category).
This was Ali's induction to the "big kid" activities.
Saturday Mom and Dad took Ali and Joey to Ringgold, a Civil War battlefield.
Rewind to the night before Thanksgiving when the cooking began (the pics didn't load in order...oops!)
That is Sophi under there, sleeping as usual.
We also did a bit of card making (thanks Shell).
This sign basically sums up our trip! I saw it in a bathroom at a visitors center and about died of laughter. We really did have a wonderful time with all of our family. It was a fun, relaxing weekend with all the things I love best - family, food and games! We missed Ben, Julio, Megan, Weston, Liam and Lyra sooooo much and hope they can make it next year!
And one last picture of Nana, Joey and Alexandra at Mom's fav place - Civil War battlefield!
