I absolutely can not belie
ve that it is the 12th of October! I left for my trip to Utah on the 1st and can not figure out where 12 days have gone. I had the best of intentions in regards to my blog. I planned on posting every day while away (like you Wendi) but as you can see,
that simply did not happen. Here are a fe
w pictures to show you what did happen. Alexandra and Liam (Megan's son, Ali's cousin) rekindled their friendship and shared spaghetti and a bath the first day. We then cooked and decorated hundreds of cupcakes and mini quiches. We enjoyed a beautiful ceremony for Lindsay and Brady at the Manti temple and not
1 but 2 exhilarating receptions. I think I gained 10 lbs from all of the delicious food. We have had a wonderful time, but now I have to get to
business. I am presenting a research
paper at a professional conference in Montana next week...yikes! I am super excited though and truly do love doing the research. I am a self proclaimed
procrastinator (I swear my work is better that way!) and as such, will be freaking out from now until I present :)
Needless to say, it has been a wonderful trip full of friends, family and food, what more do
you need in life?

It's nice to have those trips back to family and friends. Good luck on your presentation!
You've been busy!! It looks like it was really fun. Is your family recovered from the last minute wedding preparations?
Thanks Annie! Yes, these trips are so needed and they make going home wonderful. Everyone is recovering and grateful that there are no more daughters to be married.
How fantastic- I had no idea your little sister was getting married! And...
good luck on the presentation! What's it on?
