Here is a brief synopsis of our lives over the past month. It has, as always, been busy but we have had a lot of fun family time and just keep trucking along. My favorite thing over the past month was last week's General Conference. I needed the messages that were taught so much. Listening to those inspired talks reminded me that I must realign my life closer to that of the Savior's.
I want to express my gratitude to my wonderful family who I love so much. My mom and dad and brothers and sisters are go great. They are there for me whenever I need them and I love them so much for that. Most of all though, I love my dear, sweet Anthony and my little Ali Boo. I have been sick for the past week and they have been so great to put up with me.
So, here are a few things that I am very grateful for in my life.
On Memorial Day we rode down to Chicago on the train. We had a nice time.
But were exhausted by the the end of the day.
Here's my little Boo, getting ready for a party.
She is such a sweet princess.
The Boo just chillin'.
We went to an orchard and picked apples to make homemade applesauce. We had so much fun.
The best apples were at the tops of the trees so Anthony climbed up to get them. He's so great.
There is my hunk hauling our apples.
Here is Alexandra playing with her new princess set. She has gotten really good about playing by herself.
My little rock star!
Alexandra has been expanding her culinary tastes and is more willing to try new things.
Mmmmmm...tacos!
We have been better about having family home evening lately. Ice cream cones for treats afterward is one of our favorite parts.
I did these pictures my parents' birthdays. I got the idea from a friend's blog and they turned out really cute.
Alexandra and Anthony thy to see how many bows they can get in her hair at one time.
Alexandra is a little compulsive about her toys. She always lines them and puts them in a very particular spot. It makes me laugh!
The Boo loves looking cute.
Potty training is in full swing. Although we won't have to buy diapers soon, we will have to put that money away for all the dental work Ali will need after we have bribed her into sitting on the potty. It has actually been loads easier than I expected, Anthony does the bulk of the work with her, thanks Babe!My mom sent a couple of boxes with a bunch of fun books and toys...thanks Nana!
One night Ali started saying "Now sing" and then she would go "aaaaaa....aaaaaaa" just like in The Little Mermaid. It was so cute!
