Date night...what?
We joined a babysitting group that gives us free babysitting on Friday nights. The problem is that Anthony works late so we usually don't participate and drop our kids off. A few weeks ago Anthony was getting off early - 7 pm. So I decided to drop the kids, order a pizza and surprise him with a date at his work.
It may sound lame but seeing as he works in a hockey training facility and we both love playing, it was really fun. Isn't my hubby so hot when he skates? I sure think so!
Oh hockey gear, how I miss you!
Here is Sophi all bundled up for the ward beach party.
I am trying to remember to have Anthony take pictures of me with the girls. I am usually behind the camera and now want a little more face time :)
This was right before Anthony and I went to the temple. Which is one of our very favorite date night activities.
More sleeping Sophi.
And my helper in the kitchen. Thank you to Anthony for giving her the scraper. It was super cute until she hit herself in the face with it!
Daughter like mother - she loves wearing my heels (just like my nephew Liam loves wearing Megan's).
Anthony has hope that at least one of children will enjoy hockey. Sophi really likes watching the Hawks with her daddy....especially in the Bumbo.
I am really bad about remembering to have Sophi do tummy time. She does really well with it.
P.S. She's super cute too!
I also helped throw a double baby shower for 2 of my girlfriends. I was in charge of the food and it was so fun. I put together all of these yummy treats (and a breakfast casserole). I love to cook, especially for parties.
One of Anthony's students gave us tickets to a Hawks game. We love going to the games and most of all spending time together. We had a lot of fun and I know it is pathetic, but I really missed the girls.
I was trying so hard to get a smiling picture and this is the best I was able to get. I guess you just have to see her in person to enjoy those adorable smiles.
Sharing - the picture above and the one below show how Ali loves to share with Sophi. She put a pig sticker on her hand and then gave Sophi her favorite stuffed animal, the ballerina.
You must be on Alexandra's good side if she lets you play with ballerina!

All of your food looks so tasty. Good work sissy. Oh and I'm glad that you and Anthony got to have a fun date skating. I used to love dates like that at the rink. Sophi looks adorable in her tummy time pictures. I love the pink and orange dress and head band she is wearing. People don't really put huge bows on their girls and I miss seeing big bows on tiny heads. So cute!
Oh the blessed joy of a date night! And I love that you got to do something that you both enjoy! Your girls are so adorable in all of the pictures. You look really good too! I can not wait to see you all in just a few short weeks.
Cute, cute girls! And there are some good pictures of Sohpi smiling--when she's watching hockey with Anthony and playing with the spatula. Ali's sayings are so great! They made me smile!
