Angels on Earth
I am slowing learning that little girls are angels on earth. I am shocked and amazed by Alexandra's faith and love. Last week she woke up in the middle of the night with an earache. Anthony sat with her for about an hour before she was able to fall back asleep. When she woke up the following morning she continued to complain about the pain. At breakfast Anthony suggested that Ali pray and ask Heavenly Father to help her ear feel better. That night, when we were kneeling down for prayer she said "Heavenly Father made my ear feel better!" Throughout the course of the day I had forgotten about her earache because she didn't complain about it. But she recognized and remembered the source of her relief. I am so grateful for the humbling opportunity that I have to guide these sweet, precious babes back to their Father in Heaven. Although, I think the reality of it is that they will teach me what I must learn and guide me home.

colterI love when my kids remind me of the eternal perspective of life. I think of the words to I am a Child of God - lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the way- and truthfully it is as much for me as a parent as it is for my kids.
