Hugs and Kisses to everyone we love!

We had a very happy Valentine's Day yesterday. Here are a few of the highlights...

I received a special delivery at work on Friday. Anthony sent me these lovely flowers. All of the girls at work were so jealous. Isn't my hubby great?

Since Alexandra has become very interested in jewelry, I found a pack of braceletts to match her necklaces. There were 8 in the pack and she likes to put 4 on each arm. Grandpa Ernie gave Grandma Pat a neat balloon on a stick and Ali really enjoyed playing with it.
Alexanda started swimming lessons yesterday and it was so much fun. She and I go to a parent/tot class at Gold's Gym every Saturday. We bought her a new swim suit a couple of weeks ago and she carried it around with her nearly every day. She was so excited to finally put it on yesterday. She did really well in the class. Ali gets nervous in new situations and didn't really like being on her back, but loved kicking her feet when on her tummy. We played fun games like ring around the rosies, red light/green light and hide and seek. The only time Alexandra cried was when we got out and had to take her swim suit off. Unfortunantely I was too busy to get any pictures, maybe next week!

When we got home from lessons I received a special delivery. My Dad sent me flowers...aren't they beautiful? The past few years my Dad has given all of the girls flowers and I appreciate and love them so much. Thanks Dad! Love you!
The next special surprise was the much anticipated Valentine's box from my Mom. It came just before we were about to leave for our party but we made time to open it and enjoy the wonderful gifts inside. Ali got a new Cars book with fun sounds, 101 Dalmations II the movie, a cute Springy plate and cup and a pink fork and spoon. I got the traditional V-Day pj pants and a beautiful Spring table cloth and cloth napkins.
The other neat thing we received was a homemade Valentine's card from Liam. He did a great job coloring it. Ali loved the heart on the front so much that she ripped it off so she could enjoy it more.

Last night we went to a party at the Claspell's (a family in our ward). There were 10 other coupels from the ward and we had loads of yummy food, great conversation and shared fun stories. I love getting together with people in our ward, they are so fun!

Today Alexandra did the funniest thing. She found her swim suit and wanted to put it on so she took her pants off and tried to get her shirt off too (with little success). So, she decided she would try something new and squated down and pulled her shirt over her knees. It was so funny that I had to take this video. She has also gotten pretty good at her ABC's. She prefers doing them with Anthony :)

Yes, your friendship means all the more since you endure our lizard and our "evil" cat too!
