All I want for breakfast is a fruit cup or five!

I must admit that I don't have a lot to blog about today, but I know that Lindsay will chastize me if I don't put something new up. I may have to ask Wendi for funny Ali stories to share with you all :)

One day this week Anthony was telling me that Alexandra ate such a good breakfast, she had a few fruit cups. Knowing my dear sweet daughter, I knew that a few could actually mean quite a few. After prodding Anthony for an answer he finally admitted to giving her 5 fruit cups. "But she ate all of them" he assured me :) If we would let her, Alexandra would eat fruit all day. She loves it, especially grapes and cutie oranges. This picture is from dinner tonight...isn't she so cute?

Ali wore her pretty fall princess dress (the beautiful dress my Mom made for Lindsay's wedding). Every time I tell people that my Mom made it they are shocked, way to go Mom! The awesome thing about this dress is that it has a ton of fabric. When Ali was taking her post church nap I looked at her in her crib and had the thought...Where's the Boo? All I see is fabric! So I had to take a picture.

The funny "Ali at church" story for today took place during the sacrement. Alexandra really likes to be a big girl and take the sacrement all by herself. Today, she decided to put the entire water cup (which was full) in her mouth. When she tried to open her mouth to get it out, the water spilled out all over her. It was pretty funny. Also, we sat in front of Tom and Wendi and Ali was being very nice and kept sharing her grapes and princess toys with Melody. We are glad to see them getting along better.

Yesterday I had to take my car to the shop. Luckily, it is right across from the Gurnee Mills mall. So, Ali and I went to the mall while waiting for the car. I started out walking fast for exercise, but Alexandra did not want to be in the stroller, so I let her get out. We slowly walked as she pushed the stroller (with a bit of help from me). As we were passing the cinnamon roll shop she decided to stop and take a break. They have 4 tables with chairs there and she had to sit at each table before we could continue. The funniest part was when we got to the food court. They have a VW bus with a bunch of games (the kind where you try to grab a toy) and Ali thought it was fun to press the buttons to make the music play. She would then do a little dance and laugh and laugh. After that she would run away laughing, to see if I could catch her. We did this routine for about 15 minutes. It really amused all of the old people who were there.
This picture of Anthony cracks me up...I hope you enjoy too! The glasses are Alexandra's new "eyes" as she likes to call them. As we spent over 4 hrs at the mall, did you think we didn't find anything to buy? Gymborie had a bucket of things for $1.99 and I found 2 pairs of sandels and these cute sunglasses for the Boo. I love bargain shopping!
In other exciting news, Anthony begins his full time position at Puckmasters Glenview tomorrow. We are so very grateful for the many blessings the Lord has poured out upon us. We are both working and now looking for a place to live (which I am super excited about). Additionally, I received a new calling this week. I am back with the Young Women as the 1st counselor in the YW's presidency. I get to work with the Mia Maids this go around, which I am very excited about.
I look forward to another good week and hopefully some warmer weather. We actually got over freezing this week...woohoo! Love you all!

Funny. I thought Jonas could eat a lot of fruit. No, Ali has him beat. We are into sunglasses around here too. Jonas also likes to put Mr. Potatoe' heads glasses on his face, they are so small but he manages to stretch them across his face. Glad you didn't post about your favorite diaper...although the idea of it did make me laugh!
