Umbrella. Last Thursday we had a huge rainstorm roll in right as I was trying to get the girls into the car to take Alexandra to preschool. I opened the door that leads from the kitchen into the garage and the garage door then went back to put Sophi in her car seat. While I was buckling her up Alexandra decided to head out to the car on her own. When I got into the garage I saw Alexandra standing out in the pouring rain. Instinctively I yanked her back into the garage and she looked at me, shocked. I then put Sophi into the car and then buckled Ali in. While I was composing myself, dripping wet, Ali said to me in her little matter of fact voice "Mom, its just rain". I had to laugh to myself because that is exactly what I would have said to her is she had been upset over getting wet. Oh how the tables turn so easily and unexpectedly!
Needless to say, I do need to purchase an umbrella in order to better handle the combination of rain, 2 kiddos and a long haul from the parking lot to preschool.

that's funny. i have to chuckle to myself when my words are shot back at me by liam as well. kids crack me up sometimes.
i laughed when you told this to me. i love playing/dancing in the rain. infact it rains so much here in the fall (so i have been told) i decided in needed a pair of rain boots to go with my umbrella.
