Stay-cation

This year we decided to enjoy a staycation in lieu of heading out of town.  There are a million of amazing things to do so close to us that we wanted to rock it in Chi-town.  We started out at Navy Pier and they had the Phineas and Ferb bus that the girls really enjoyed.

We then split up - I took Alexandra to the theater to see Beauty and the Beast and Anthony took Sophi to the children's museum.  We loved the show - Belle sang right next to us and I can't wait to go again!

We then joined up and had lunch together.  It was incredibly windy so all of the rides were shut down which was a bummer.  So, all of us went back to the children's museum for the rest of the afternoon.

The girls loved this museum!  They had so many fun exhibits.

And Ali loved this funky bench...and her silly face in the picture.

They had a craft time and Ali made this fun stuffed creature.  She was so proud of herself.  It looks great huh?

This cute girl wanted to carry my purse and I thought she looked so grown up.  I love when she wants to be like me!

After playing at them museum we had a yummy dinner then walked down to Michigan Ave.  I must be crazy but I love the ebb and flow of the crazy masses that walk up and down this shopping epicenter.  Ali thought this guy was pretty funny and she tried to get him to move by being a statue like him.

He is a great Dad isn't he?
It was so windy that day that it nearly knocked me off my feet.  I kept trying to get a picture to capture it and this is the best I could do.

That night we drove to India and stayed in a hotel so we could go to Fair Oaks Farm the next day.

 Heheheeheheheee!

These little girls we exhausted from a fun filled packed couple of days.  We had such an amazing time together.  I love my family!
