Kindergarten - Here she comes!

Kindergarten - oh how I have looked forward to you!  I am pretty sure that I was much more excited about this new adventure than my Ali Jo Jo.  Wednesday was the meet and greet at school.  We got my little girl all dolled up and ready to go check out the school.

Yes, we made her do a complete photo shoot before heading out.  I have to laugh because she does these adorable poses.  Notice Sophi in background, she is trying so hard to follow in her sissy's footsteps.

 Go Sophi go!

And here she is, ready for her first full day...all by herself.

Heheheheehehee!

Yes, I made her take more pictures.  I didn't cry.  I was so anxious but I held it together (until that afternoon when I was almost late picking her up - but that is another story!).

Here is Ali with her friend Parker.  He was DONE with the picturing taking!

Have a great day sweet baby girl!  I love you lots! XOXOXO

School has gone really well.  Ali's teacher is Mrs. Gerchikov and Ali really likes her.  She has been rather quiet in class but is beginning to warm up.  They have a chart where the kids move their bananas up and down for good and bad behavior.  Alexandra told me she wasn't talking because she was too afraid of having to move her banana down.  She's a sweet girl but I hope she loosens up a bit!  And...much to my dislike she is riding the bus.  I know I am a nerdy mom, but I thought that the drive home from school would be a fun, special time for us.  Turns out, picking her up caused only tears.  So, the bus it is!  It has made for much happier afternoons.
