Or "Hurio" if you are a niece or nephew. A number of years ago someone asked my parents "do you have 7 kids? I thought it was only 6 but I keep hearing about a Julio". This makes us laugh still today. My older brother Julio (Jared) is the 3rd child in our family. He has been known as Julio for about 11 years now. As a family we went down to Peru to pick Peter up from his mission. Jared had long curly hair and wore Hawaiian shirts and khaki shorts the entire trip. He looked like a Cuban drug lord so we started calling him the Cuban and that somehow morphed into Julio.
Julio is crazy and we love him for it. He is so tender and I have had a really good relationship with him ever since he joined the army. One of my favorite vacations was when Lindsay and I flew out to Seattle to visit him for Lindsay's 18th birthday. We traveled and did a lot of sight seeing and I even won a mechanical bull riding contest - it was pretty much amazing. I am so proud of Jared for joining the military and going to war for our country. I am proud of him for dealing with the residual effects of war each day. I am proud of him for going to school and working hard. I am so grateful to have such a smart, witty, loving brother. I hope that life turns out the way he wants and he is able to have all of the happiness in the world. Love ya man!

Yes that WAS a great trip! Remember how scared I was that they would not let me in because it was the day before my 18th birthday and you had to be 18 to get in? Oh how I love our trips together and I love that silly Julio guy also :)
