Linny Poo Poo

Yes, that is what I call my little sissy Lindsay.  Inappropriate?  Probably, but we still do it.  That's the way the Rabner girls roll.  I told Ali to call Lindsay Aunt Linny Poo Poo on Skype one day and she was laughing so hard she couldn't get it out.  Enough about her silly name and more about my amazing little Linny.
One of my favorite things about Lindsay is that she is always fun.  Every time we get together it is not stop laughing (until at least one of us is peeing our pants) and both of us are crying.  I miss being by her so much and treasure every moment - rare as they may be - that we are together.
A couple of days ago I was at a friend's house and Lindsay called, I picked up and said I would call her back in a bit.  I then explained to my friend that it wasn't a big deal, we talk about 6 times a day and it probably wasn't anything major.  I was not exaggerating, we really talk about 6 times every day.  If we miss a day or two we are apologizing for being unavailable.  I know it sounds silly, but that is the kind of relationship we have and I am so grateful.
Here is Lindsay with her hubby Brady.  Brady is a great guy who adores Linny and their baby Ryker.  I am so glad she has someone great to take care of her.  Brady is one of the favorite uncles.  All of the kids love to go wrestle with him or play the Wii with him.  He is always so sweet to them.
And here is "tiny".  Lindsay and Brady started calling him Tiny before he was born and the name stuck despite his monstrous size.  He is so stinkin' cute that we forgive him for weighing 25 lbs at 8 months.
Yeah for family time!  I love spending time with my mom and sisters.  One of my favorite traditions is that when we all lived in the same area we would have a girls night to celebrate birthdays.  Instead of buying gifts we would take the birthday girl to a play or movie and to dinner.  It was always so much fun.

I don't know how, but Lindsay carries Ryker around in a pack, with her bad back and all.
When we decided to do the fundraiser for Japan I called Lindsay and asked her to help by making some hair bows to donate.  Lindsay is incredibly talented and makes the CUTEST hair bows ever.  She agreed and that started the ball rolling on a massive crafting ordeal.  She has gone so far above and beyond what I ever expected.  She has made a TON of adorable items to sell and I am shocked by her sacrifice and service.
Lindsay and I have not always gotten along.  When we were younger it would get pretty brutal in our house.  I am so grateful that that has all changed!  I used to wish that I was an only child but now I can't imagine my life without all of my siblings.
Linds - you are a beautiful woman, a wonderful mother and one of my bestest friends.  I am so impressed by the person you have become.  I wish that we lived closer and could spend more time, in person, together.  I suppose our countless phone calls and skype visits will have to do for now.  Thank you for being a great sister and aunt (even if Ali hung up on you to talk to Megan).  I love you!

awwwww.... true love. I'm glad that we don't fight like we used to and that we talk a million times a day. I miss late nights on the couch eating, reading cook books, laughing, crying, and peeing {a little}. thank you for being such an amazing sister to me!!
